It is assumed all Heavy Weapons are equally effective against Infantry and Vehicles. Of course their is always some nasty bastard in the universe who wants to bring the hurt specific things for various reasons to do with their childhood.
Special Rule B – Heavy Weapon Grading
To accommodate this we have two optional rules that can be added to Heavy Weapons, these will be indicated in the Notes section of a units profile.
Anti-Infantry & Anti-Vehicle, now you might think anti-personnel and anti-tank would be better, but I am trying to ensure we have consistency in naming conventions used, and to make it clear for anyone not familiar with the terminology. Every little helps.
In the rules, these weapons are more effective in the destruction of there intended target than normal, and they deduct an additional 1 from the armour save.
It is possible for Heavy Weapons to be both Anti-Infantry & Anti-Vehicle.
Note/Thought, later could add Heavy Weapons that poor against Infantry and Vehicles. Also, Aircraft could be added to this? AND, Firefight could have similar qualities added. Anti-Vehicle++….
